HAROLD “BILLY” BAUGUS was called as pastor of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Waccamaw Baptist Association, on Oct. 25. A graduate of Covington Theological Seminary and Andersonville Theological Seminary, Baugus previously served as youth/children’s pastor of First Baptist Church, Wagener, and as associate pastor and youth pastor at several other churches. He and his wife Christie have three sons and one granddaughter. Baugus began duties at Cedar Creek on Nov. 15.

 

 

 

 

 

BRIAN GOSS was ordained to the ministry by Earle’s Grove Baptist Church, Westminster, on Nov. 22. A longtime member of Earle’s Grove, Goss earned an associate’s degree in sacred literature from Covington Theological Seminary and was called as pastor of Lydia Baptist Church, Newry, on Oct. 4. He and his wife Carole Ann have two children, Brandon and Taylor.
