Thankful for support

The Baptist Courier

The Lord is so good, and he is faithful to supply our every need. I stand amazed at how he has blessed the ministry of Parson’s Pantry. It is a joy to watch him meet the needs of his servants through this ministry.

He provided the resources for us to send out $7,500 during Thanksgiving to help 18 needy families. Today we were able send $5,000 to help 10 families. Since we started the ministry, he has made it possible for us to assist 205 needy pastors, retired pastors, widows of pastors, and married ministerial students with $134,550. Praise the Lord!

One widow said, “Thank you for making my transition easier and reminding me that Jesus is the Good Shepherd and he is faithful. Your gift has helped cushion me while I adjust.” A married ministerial student at New Orleans Baptist Seminary said, “My family and I were so blessed by your gift and words of encouragement. We stepped out on faith by leaving our career jobs in South Carolina to attend seminary as we prepare for full-time ministry. Our faith has been stretched, but we are so encouraged by your thoughtfulness.” Another widow said, “I never cease to be amazed at how our loving Lord meets all our needs. The timing of your gift is awesome! Thank you so much for being our Lord’s instrument to meet my needs.”

We are so grateful for your prayers and support of this ministry. One hundred percent of all gifts goes to needy families.
