Two South Carolinians were among graduates of New Orleans Baptist Seminary Dec. 19.
Matthew Craig Canton, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Westminster, received the doctor of ministry degree. Canton holds the master of divinity in biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and a bachelor of arts in telecommunications from Baylor University.
Robert Eugene Wood Jr., from Summerville, received the master of divinity degree. Wood is youth minister of Mountain View Baptist Church of Layton, Utah.
New Orleans Seminary offers associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees in biblical studies, theology, pastoral ministry, church history, Christian education, counseling and music. The seminary is owned and supported by the Southern Baptist Convention.
