ALLEN GREGORY was called as senior pastor by Fairforest Baptist Church, Union, on Dec. 20. He began duties at Fairforest on Jan. 3. Gregory previously served as associate pastor of Northside Baptist Church, Laurens. He and his wife Linda have two adult children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, CLIO, with a resident membership of 36, more than tripled its Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal of $600 – collecting a total of $1,900. Paul Wall is interim pastor at Clio First Baptist.

 

JERRY MIZE has announced his retirement as pastor of Keowee Baptist Church in Honea Path effective Feb. 7. He served at Keowee for more than eight years. He has pastored churches in Georgia and South Carolina for 35 years. Mize and his wife Barbara will live in Westminster.

 

CHRISTOPHER HALL, of Greenville, received a master of divinity degree Dec. 19 from New Orleans Baptist Seminary. Hall, lead pastor at a fall 2010 church plant in Greenville, is married to the former Elizabeth Page Hudson of Liberty. Hall’s home church is Crosswell First Baptist Church of Easley. He holds the bachelor of arts in human services and resources from Anderson University.
