‘Heaven’s Area Code:A Theology of Prayer’

John Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ridgeway, has published “Heaven’s Area Code: A Theology of Prayer.”
Described in the foreword as a field manual for prayer, the book addresses many aspects of the subject from a biblical and exegetical perspective. It tackles the thorny issue of God’s sovereignty and human intercession, and answers frequently asked questions such as: “Does prayer really change things?” and “Is the Lord’s Prayer really a prayer?”
“Heaven’s Area Code” is for both the prayer novice who wants to know where to begin, and the well-experienced prayer warrior who seeks an even better and more rewarding prayer life.
Williamson is a graduate of Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Ind. He has taught at various seminaries and has more than 30 years of pastoral experience. He and his wife Rachel have four children and several grandchildren.
