Over the years, the church has changed – in the wrong manner. When we think of the Trinity, do we see any one member trying to change the image of the others? The answer is no. All three remain just like each other. They have been the same through eternity. Can the church be the same way? Yes, because the church is one body that serves one God, one Lord Jesus Christ, and one Spirit.
We wonder why the church is losing its impact upon the world. Rather than remain as one body, we have become separated. We talk about traditional and contemporary as being churches. There is to be neither of these man-made images. We must remember that we are all one body. We must stop dividing the body of Christ and dedicate ourselves to becoming more like Jesus Christ.
Our churches are not churches – they are congregations that make one church. The one church is the body Jesus died to establish. He loves us dearly, and we should have no problem loving him as well as each other. If we begin to show love and appreciation for each other, we shall see the church become what Jesus put us here for: We must show the world, together, how much Jesus loves them.
Brethren, we must stop dividing God’s church and together serve our God in a humble way. It is shameful for us to judge each other. God tells us if we judge man, he will judge us. Let’s all strive to be one. Let’s all show the same Jesus. Let’s all love each other as Jesus loves us. Let’s all reunite and proudly be the one body of the Lord Jesus Christ. If we strive to do this, God will greatly bless all his people.
