Brad Atkins, pastor of Powdersville First Baptist Church, will be nominated for first vice president of the South Carolina Baptist Convention when messengers gather for the state convention’s annual meeting Nov. 16-17.
AtkinsAtkins currently serves as second vice president of the SCBC.
Broadus Moody, director of missions for Piedmont Baptist Association, told the Courier in an e-mail that he will nominate Atkins.
Atkins is the first announced nominee for first vice president.
The SCBC annual meeting will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
