Joe Pace

JOE PACE, pastor of Refuge Baptist Church, Central, retired Aug. 1 after 43 years of ministry. During his ministry, he was pastor of four churches and served as minister of music at three churches. Refuge Church honored Pace at his retirement. Pace said he desires to stay active and continue preaching. He and his wife will reside in Pickens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Williams

CHRIS WILLIAMS has been called as senior pastor by Santee Circle Community Church, Moncks Corner, and was installed in a special ceremony on July 11. A native of Latta, he was ordained to the ministry at Pyerian Baptist Church, Floydale. in August 1999. He previously served as pastor at First Baptist Church, Saint Pauls, N.C., and North Mullins Baptist Church. He and his wife, Donna, previously served as missionaries to Honduras, Central America, with Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI). Williams attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Covington Theological University, and is a 1995 graduate of Clemson University. He is currently pursuing a master of divinity degree at Anderson Theological Seminary. Williams and his wife have two sons – Joshua and Noah.

 

 

Mickey White

MICKEY WHITE, senior pastor for 13 years at Santee Circle Community Church, Moncks Corner, was honored July 10 with a pastor appreciation fellowship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ROBBY O’DELL has been called as lay youth pastor at Santee Circle. He has worked with youth and youth groups for the past 20 years, and previously served in this capacity at Santee Circle from July 1998 to January 2004. He earned a civil engineering degree from The Citadel and is currently employed at Santee Cooper, where he has worked for more than 21 years. O’Dell and his wife, Kelley, have two children – Jenna and Robby Jr.
