Pleasant Hill Baptist ChurchPleasant Hill Baptist Church, Conway, celebrated its 100th anniversary on Oct. 3. The church was founded in 1910 by Nick Gause. Chester Williamson donated the land. They wanted to establish a pleasant place for the community to worship, so they settled on the name, Pleasant Hill Baptist. Through the years, there have been renovations to the church’s structure. In 2009, the new church was completed. Lonnie and Dale Johnson and Joe and Helen Parker were special guests for the celebration service. Two granite benches were placed in front of the church in their honor.
