North Greenville University has received approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to begin offering a master of education degree. Classes will begin in January at the T. Walter Brashier Graduate School in Greer.
It is the school’s third graduate program to be accredited since the graduate school opened in 2006. Other master’s degrees are offered in Christian ministry and in business administration.
“The master of education is a 36-hour program and is geared toward the working professional,” said Shelley Dugle, dean of the graduate school of education, who said classes will be offered during evenings and weekends to allow students to complete the program within two years.
