Thomas F. Taylor, 74, of Kershaw, a retired pastor, died Sept. 28, 2010.
Born May 25, 1936, in Kershaw, he was ordained to the ministry in 1974 and was a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute.
He formerly served as pastor of Abney Baptist Church, Kershaw; Long Branch Baptist Church, Jefferson; Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Patrick; Edwards Chapel, Patrick; and Westfield Creek Baptist Church, Chesterfield. After retiring, he served interim pastorates at Beaverdam Baptist Church, Cassatt, and Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Kershaw.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette M. Taylor, and two grandsons. He was predeceased by a daughter.
