Thank you for sharing the story about Sean Vickers and the creative way he involved his students in sharing their commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage through True Love Waits (“True Love Waits Meets the Social Network,” March 3).

Shannon Jones put together a great article that covered the story but also expressed the heart of what we have tried to accomplish with True Love Waits since its inception in 1993. Our initial intent (which continues to this day) was to provide students with ways to share their beliefs about sexual abstinence until marriage.

The Baptist Courier has been a true partner in encouraging students through churches to make a commitment to purity, and we thank you.
