Steven Frank Justice, 52, pastor of Good Hope Church in Saluda, died June 20, 2011.
Born in Summersville, W.Va., he was ordained in 1982 and served as interim pastor for Walnut Grove Church in Hodges and associate pastor of First Church, Ninety Six, before becoming pastor at Good Hope Church.
He was also an active worker in both local and foreign missions and a volunteer in disaster relief missions, having served as chaplain for the disaster relief unit for Ridge Association. Justice was also instrumental in leading his church to sponsor the association’s Hispanic mission.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Shiflet Justice, his parents, three daughters and one grandson.
