SCOTT VAUGHAN, former director of marketing for the South Carolina Baptist Convention, was ordained to the ministry Oct. 23 at Lexington Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Turner delivered the charge. Vaughan served on the SCBC staff until 2003, when he resigned to begin Scott Vaughan Communications, LLC, through which he assists more than 3,500 North American churches and faith organizations with communication education, research and strategy development. Lexington Church licensed him to the ministry in 2005. Vaughan teaches an adult Sunday school class at Lexington. He and his wife Vicki have four sons.
