Letters: A grateful farmer

The Baptist Courier

I am a farmer in Alcolu, and I also drive a big truck to deliver our commodities to markets all around the state. I have been delivering soybeans to ADM in Kershaw. I would like to thank everyone involved at the First Baptist Church in Kershaw for their wonderful “trucker ministry.” Most of the time there will be 40 or 50 trucks in line overnight to unload early the next morning. The church provides coffee, doughnuts, cookies, biscuits, sometimes a full breakfast, and restrooms to all truckers, free of charge.

Also, the Second Baptist Church provides us with some care packages. We just cannot thank these churches enough for their kindness.
