‘Coexist Clemson’ set for March 8

The faith community of Clemson is sponsoring “Coexist? The Question of (In)tolerance,” an event open to the public featuring apologists Ravi Zacharias and John Njoroge on March 8 at 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The event is sold out, but will be shown live via webcast at CoexistClemson.com. Visit CoexistClemson.com for updates regarding ticket availability and overflow viewing sites.

Zacharias will begin by examining the topic of religious intolerance in a 45-minute lecture, and will then be joined by Njoroge for a live, moderated question and answer session with the audience. Audience members will be able to ask questions via microphones and by texting their questions during the event.

The event is sponsored by a host of organizations and churches in the Clemson community, including: Southern Wesleyan University, Crosspoint Church, Clemson Presbyterian Church, East Clemson Baptist Church, Pickens First Baptist Church and the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

Zacharias is founder, chairman and CEO of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) and author of “Why Jesus?” (FaithWords, 2012). Njoroge is a member of the speaking team at RZIM.
