My yard seems to be very hesitant in sprouting the seeds I sow on it. I guess I do not do all that I should in preparation.
But here is an interesting fact: The moral and spiritual seeds planted – good or bad – seem to bear fruit. Look around and see what the seeds that take root produce in the lives of people.
Recently, I heard of an event that blew my mind. A migrant from Asia walked up to a Christian and, holding a New Testament in his hand, said, “You and two other men gave me this New Testament printed in my language and in English four decades ago.” The two men – the Asian and the Christian – had not seen each other for 40 years.
The message we must get is this: Seeds planted will produce, just as Jesus said in Matthew 13:18-23. What kind of seeds are you sowing? We can sow undesirable seeds, or we can sow seeds that spring into everlasting life.
