SettleJoe Frank Settle, 94, of Gaston, a retired Baptist pastor, died Jan. 29, 2012.
Born in Inman, he pastored churches in Lexington, Barnwell and Orangeburg counties. Settle was a combat veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Settle, two children, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Grime Settle.
