SEAN GOSNELL joined the staff of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Spartanburg, as youth and children’s minister. He grew up in the Mount Zion community and has served as youth minister in several Upstate churches. He and his wife Tami are the parents of Natalie, 4; and Isaac, 9 months. Gosnell is scheduled to graduate from Liberty University in May.

 

 

Bill Jones

BILL JONES was called as pastor of Friends of Faith Baptist Church, Pacolet, on Jan. 8. He previously served as an evangelist and supply pastor before being called as pastor of Abingdon Creek Baptist Church, Gaffney, where he served for 22 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Mid-Atlantic Bible College and a master’s degree from Covington Theological Seminary. He and his wife Mary Sue have three children and nine grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

 

Bob Clardy

BOB CLARDY has been called as director of pastoral care at Whitefield Baptist Church, Belton. He comes to the position after retiring from Michelin North America. Clardy has served in several capacities during his years at Whitefield and was licensed to the ministry in a special service on March 11. He and his wife Brenda have two children and two grandchildren.
