Joe WrenJOE WREN recently retired from the pastorate of Summerville Baptist Church, Summerville, where he served for more than 21 years. A native of South Carolina, he has been in the ministry for 46 years, having previously served as pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Clover, and Belmont Baptist Church, Columbia, as well as churches in North Carolina and Tennessee. He has also served as trustee and board chairman at Charleston Southern University. The Summerville congregation honored him on June 3 with a special service of recognition and gifts of appreciation for his years of ministry.
