Charleston Southern University hosted more than 3,600 teens this summer in cooperation with LifeWay’s M-Fuge camps.

M-Fuge combines the experience of a mission trip with the format of summer camp. Students in 7th-12th grades worked in the Charleston area doing construction work, painting, hosting backyard Bible clubs and conducting apartment ministry.

“LifeWay’s M-Fuge summer camp program supports CSU’s vision, providing a transformational experience for church youth groups through worship, discipleship and ministry to the Lowcountry,” said Rick Brewer, vice president for student affairs and athletics. “We rejoice and give God the glory for hundreds of lives changed annually while the presence of Christ is released into communities served by our visiting church youth groups.”

Almost 100 students made decisions at camp about salvation, rededication and vocational ministry.
