Chris RockerCHRIS ROCKER began duties as minister of students and recreation at Southside Baptist Church, Spartanburg, on Aug. 19. He previously served at First Baptist Church, Senoia, Ga. Rocker earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia College and State University and a master of divinity degree from Southern Seminary. He and his fianc?e, Grace Robbins, will be married on Sept. 15.
Jessica PreisigJESSICA PREISIG is the new children’s minister at Five Forks Baptist Church, Simpsonville, having served as summer children’s minister for the past two years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Clemson University. Preisig and her husband Chris have two daughters, Lydia and Abigail.
