Charleston Southern University has been named to America’s 100 Best College Buys for the eighth consecutive year and America’s Best Christian Colleges for the 14th consecutive year.

The annual lists are released by Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc.

America’s 100 Best College Buys identifies outstanding colleges across the country offering high quality educational environments at the lowest possible cost.

“Ratings are based exclusively on facts and not personal opinion that can skew results,” said Lewis T. Lindsey Jr., president of the consulting firm. “All institutions, public and private, can be fairly compared on the basis of the academic profile of their most recent entering freshman class and the cost of tuition, fees, room and board.”

Other South Carolina universities named to this year’s list are Anderson University, Clemson University, Coastal Carolina University, University of South Carolina and Winthrop University.

America’s Best Christian Colleges identifies colleges and universities providing the highest quality education in a Christian environment.
