It’s the day that he says gave his family a “new normal.” Nearly 11 years have passed since his son, Eric, was diagnosed with cancer. In spite of the many ups and downs of the last decade, Ken and his family have held firmly to their faith to get them through. Now Petrus wants to encourage others through their own journey in his new book, “Through the Storms.”
“I wanted to share with a larger audience what God has done for our family,” Petrus said of why he chose to write the book. “He has been faithful through everything that’s happened with Eric and the many struggles since he was diagnosed. I also wanted to encourage people going through storms of their own and let them know how faithful God is to his children.”
