

Next week, South Carolina Baptists will elect a new state convention president. As the Courier went to press, we knew of two Upstate pastors who would be nominated: Ralph Carter, pastor of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Taylors, and Ty Childers, pastor of Fairview Baptist Church, Spartanburg.
In order for messengers who attend the Nov. 13-14 annual meeting at the TD Convention Center in Greenville to make an informed decision, we asked both nominees to respond to questions about their vision for the SCBC.
