Bobby Earls

BOBBY EARLS has been called as pastor of Northgate Baptist Church in Florence. It marks the first time in 22 years that Earls, a Blacksburg native, has served in South Carolina. He previously served Little Memorial Baptist Church in Gaffney for seven years, First Baptist Church of Icard, N.C., for 15 years and First Baptist Church of Center Point, Ala., for seven years. Earls’ wife, Penny, will serve as worship leader at Northgate. Their son, Jordan, is also serving Northgate as minister of students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jake Patterson

JAKE PATTERSON was ordained to the ministry and began serving as pastor of Hurricane Baptist Church, Clinton, on Dec. 30. He and his wife, Katie, are graduates of North Greenville University. Patterson is pursuing a master of divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tobias O. Roehm

TOBIAS O. ROEHM has accepted the call to be pastor of Convent Baptist Church, Leesville. He began his ministry Jan. 2. He comes to Convent from Northside Baptist Church in Starke, Fla., where he served for eight years as principal of the Christian Academy there. Roehm is married to Amanda Thompson Roehm. They have two sons, Micah, 5, and Josiah, 3.
