Christmas 2012 Showcase

Pastor Shannon Faulkner and members of Fairview Baptist Church, Kinards, presented “The Innkeeper’s Story” in December.
The WMU fellowship of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, recently gathered gifts for the needs of some residents of the Fountain Inn nursing home and for Montrose Manor in Woodruff.
Shiloh Baptist Church?entered a float in the Marietta Christmas parade and won first place in the church category and in the overall category.
The GAs of Evergreen Baptist Church, Effingham, hosted a fellowship meal at the church and raised money for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions.
The Pacolet First Baptist Church choir and drama team?recently presented “Silent Night! Holy Night!”?under the direction of Cathy Sparks.

Singers from Folly Beach Baptist Church joined other community churches in presenting “Silent Night! Holy Night!” to a record audience of nearly 500. The special Christmas production was led by pastor Richard Summey.
The “Little Mission Friends” of Lavonia Baptist Church (Broad River Association) honored Lottie Moon by dressing as her for the Week of Prayer kickoff. They each had a mission piggybank in their Sunday school classroom and brought change all year. They also sold “Lemonade for Lottie,” homemade ice cream and Christmas card labels for the church post office. The GA’s of First Baptist Church of Newberry collected $629 for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Their leaders are Cindy Cagle, Gina Smith and Susan Smith.
