His connections with other Christian leaders will be invaluable as we launch new programs in our Christian Leadership Center.”

Doug Hunter (no relation to Jairy Hunter) currently serves on the team for leader-led movements with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ International), where he has been responsible for creating networks across the globe to mobilize leaders in major cities to live out their Christian calling in their vocations.

He previously was president and CEO of Fellowship of Companies for Christ International. He is also an issue group leader for the second Global Think Tank on Business as Mission, which will issue a report at the group’s global congress in Thailand in April.

Hunter has also served with Business Partners International, Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, and Media Asia.

He holds a B.A. from the University of Sioux Falls and attended North American Baptist Seminary, where he has been a member of the board of trustees.

Hunter and his wife, Janet, have four adult children.

The Christian Leadership Center will be located in Charleston Southern University’s new Christian Leadership Building, which is scheduled to open this spring. The 26,500-square-foot facility signifies the university’s commitment to faith integration and will include faculty offices, lecture halls and conference/seminar facilities in a space designed to enhance Christian worldview development on campus and in the greater community. – CSU
