State WMU announces nominees for the executive board and nominating committee

Woman’s Missionary Union, auxiliary to the South Carolina Baptist Convention, has announced the 2013-2014 nominees for executive board positions and the 2014 nominees for nominating committee positions.

The state WMU executive board manages the business of the organization during the year. Election of board members will take place March 8 during the WMU annual meeting at Chiquola Baptist Church in Honea Path.

Nominations for the executive board are made by the nominating committee, also elected at the WMU annual meeting. The committee considers involvement in WMU on the state, associational and local levels when making selections.
