Eddie Leopard has been called as lead pastor of Fairview Baptist Church, Greer. He began his ministry April 1. He came to Fairview from Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken, where he served for 17 years. He previously pastored Lee Road Baptist Church in Taylors, Bethel Baptist Church in Sumter, and Wakefield Central Baptist Church in Raleigh, N.C.
Leopard earned a B.S. from the University of South Carolina, a master of divinity from Southeastern Seminary, and a doctor of ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana. He served as president of the South Carolina Baptist Convention in 2008.
Leopard and his wife Dawn have four children.
