The “Golden Hearts” senior adult group of Apalache Baptist Church, Greer, has chosen Carol Foster as Senior Adult of the Year for 2013. Among her many contributions to the church, she is an active member of the senior adult group, serves as teller committee chairman, chairman of the Wednesday Night Fellowship Committee and is a member of the special events committee. Foster was awarded a Bible on Senior Adult Day, May 5, and the senior adults celebrated with a meal after the service.
