Fifteen people have been baptized in recent months at Mechanicsville Baptist Church in Welsh Neck Association. Pastor Frankie Tanner is in his 17th year at the church and has set a goal of baptizing at least 17 people during the year. Pictured with Tanner and pastor Luis Garcia are those who were baptized Nov. 18 in a joint service with the Hispanic congregation, Nueva Vida.
