Paige Patterson, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, will kick off the first of four “Marvelous Mondays of Evangelism” Aug. 5 at Siloam Baptist Church, Easley.

The sessions are open to the public and will feature noted speakers and musicians on four consecutive Monday evenings. Services start at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, a pastors’ banquet will be held on Aug. 5. Patterson will speak. The 5 p.m. banquet is free, but reservations are requested.
Other speakers for the August meetings will include Jeff LaBorg, Herb Reavis and Brad Whitt. Featured musicians will be Phil Cross, Greg Day, Paul Lancaster and Eric Olson.
The event is cosponsored by 10 Upstate churches, said Wayne Dickard, pastor of Siloam.
