Larry Jennings accepted the call earlier this year to become pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Nichols.
He most recently served as senior pastor at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga.
Jennings has master’s degrees in theological studies and religious education and is finishing a master of divinity degree.
He and his wife Beth have two children and two grandchildren.
