Friendship Baptist Church of Pauline observed homecoming Aug. 4. The church’s historical cabinet was dedicated to Robert and Marguerite Hayes. Robert made the cabinet when the church was rebuilt in 1981. Marguerite was instrumental in gathering many of the items placed in the cabinet and served as the church historian for many years. A plaque was presented by Edward Peeler, deacon chairman, and pastor Brian Harris.
