Bobby Byrd has been called as the new director of missions for Carolina Baptist Association in Loris. He was a bivocational pastor in Marion Baptist Association for more than 30 years, and was director of missions there from 2002-2005. Byrd also served as transitional pastor for Chapel Hill and South Hartsville Baptist churches in Welsh Neck Baptist Association.
