In celebration of Clergy Appreciation Month, the congregation of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Greer, recognized the staff on Oct. 20 for their 202 combined years of service. Mt. Lebanon staff includes Mark Smith, pastor, serving at Mt. Lebanon for 17 years; Ted Conwell, minister of music, children and activities, 28 years; Curtis Murphy, minister of youth, two years; Pam Fowler, children’s education director, eight years; Sharon Turner, ministerial assistant, 52 years; Drenda Belue, pianist, 41 years; Debbie Conwell, organist, 27 years; and Gerris and Becky Corley, custodians, 27 years.
