Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church, Union, held a special service to honor veterans on Nov. 10. All areas of the armed services, from retired National Guard to active duty servicemen, were welcomed and given special recognition by pastor Carol Caldwell. The honorees represented more than 250 combined years of service.
