On Sunday, Dec. 8, a group from the Daniel Morgan Chapter of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution met at Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church, Union, to present Outstanding Citizenship awards to Carrol W. Caldwell, pastor of Padgett’s Creek, and Jack Burnett Jr. Accepting the award for Burnett was Mary Jo Sanders, his daughter.
