Donnie Murdock was honored recently by First Creek Baptist Church in Antreville on his 25th anniversary as pastor. A reception for Murdock and his wife, Sandra, was held in the church’s newly completed fellowship building.

The building was finished debt-free, according to church reporter Suzanne H. McCalla. The Murdocks’ reception was the first official event to be held in the new building.

“We are so blessed to have God leading us here at First Creek,” said McCalla, “and to have him instilled in the hearts of the people who have given so generously to make this happen.”
