Tommy Brashier, a 1975 North Greenville University alumnus and pastor of Scenic Hills Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, recently donated a 12-passenger van to the university’s Baptist Student Union.

“We had been praying that God would provide us with a 12-passenger van to meet the need of our larger mission teams,” said BSU director Jody Jennings. “God answered our prayer in a mighty way!”

The new van will be used for Weekend Impact Teams, the BSUgrass band (a newly formed NGU bluegrass praise team), and other BSU mission teams with eight- to 12-member teams. This upcoming summer, the van will be used by a West Virginia mission team and will travel throughout the state of West Virginia to spread the gospel.
