On May 4, the deacons of Scenic Hills Baptist Church in Travelers Rest accepted the deed for their newly expanded church building from T. Walter Brashier Sr., who presented the debt-free property to the Scenic Hills congregation. The 8,000-square-foot addition doubles the size of the auditorium.
