Gerald “Bud” Moss accepted the call to Pine Grove Baptist Church, Leesville, as senior pastor on July 13. He earned a master of divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg. Moss previously served as a ministry intern with Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, Calif., from 2011-2014, and as discipleship director at Philippi Baptist Church, Union, from 2008-2010. He and his wife, Tonya, have three children: Anna, Ally and John-Andrew. Moss began duties at Pine Grove on July 20.
