The Childhood Ministry Group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention recommends that all churches take measures to make sure children are protected from abuse in the church.

Basic steps might include something as simple as making sure there are always two adults in the room, according to Sue Harmon, associate director of the SCBC Childhood Ministry Group.
