ACF recognizes NGU in top 50 Best Online Christian Colleges for 2015

Affordable Colleges Foundation (ACF), a leading resource for online learning and college affordability information, recently published a new national list of the Best Online Christian Colleges 2014-2015. North Greenville University was ranked 17th out of its top 50.

According to ACF, schools included in the rankings not only have clear and active Christian affiliations, but they’ve proven their excellence in online education.

“The faith-based colleges on our list are making online learning a clear priority,” said Dan Schuessler, founder and CEO of Affordable Colleges Foundation. “Each of these Christian colleges incorporates innovative technologies to help students pursue their higher education, while providing a strong connection to spirituality.”

According to the Department of Education, more than 900 faith-based institutions have received regional or national accreditation, meaning Christ-centered students have an abundance of high-quality choices when it comes to pursuing their higher education.

“Hundreds of Christian institutions can be found throughout the United States. There’s definitely history there,” said Schuessler. “We’re excited to highlight the ones expanding their programs to include hybrid or fully-online options.”

Earlier this year, leading Christian higher education resource Christian Universities Online ranked NGU fourth in its top 50 U.S. Christian colleges and universities with the lowest debt burden. NGU is the highest-ranked school in South Carolina.

This list presents a ranking of Christian colleges and universities whose class of 2013 graduated with the lightest debt burden. The hope is that this information will be helpful to parents and students who are seeking to make the most informed decision possible when choosing a Christian institution of higher education.
