With one month left in the fiscal year, giving from South Carolina Baptist churches through the Cooperative Program was running more than $1.6 million behind budgeted levels for 2014.
Through November, CP gifts of $24.4 million were 6.46 percent below budgeted needs of $26.1 million, according to information released by Pam Carroll, SCBC chief financial officer.
In 2013, South Carolina Baptists ended the year $1.14 million short of the $28.6 million SCBC budget. The same amount was budgeted for 2014.
