‘Worry’ now available as 8-part video teaching series

Courier Publishing has released an eight-part study on the subject of worry that can be used by small groups or Bible-study classes in churches.

Authored by Courier editor Rudy Gray, “Worry: The Silent Killer” offers a scriptural approach to dealing with worry, an affliction that Gray argues is curable even though it affects most people, including Christians. “It may be that our personal survival in this stressful world depends … on how well we learn to neutralize worry,” Gray writes. “We can never expect total health until we dismiss this crippling force from our lives.”

In “Worry: The Silent Killer,” Gray presents practical insights, scriptural principles, biblical stories and solid psychological truths that can help people identify worry, develop a faith-empowered response to it, and avoid its crippling effects.

The book, with a companion set of DVDs in which the author expands on the lessons presented in the book, can be taught over eight 45-minute sessions. A kit that includes 20 books and a set of DVDs is available for $100. Shipping is free. Additional books can be purchased for $5 each. Gray holds five earned degrees and is a National Board-certified counselor. He was a pastor for 37 years and worked as a counselor for 24 years during that time.
