Anderson church sews ‘Little Dresses’ for African girls

The women of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Anderson have sewn and donated 47 “pillowcase dresses” for the non-profit organization, Little Dresses for Africa. Church members hope the dresses will encourage young girls, many of whom may be considered of little value within their cultures, to believe they are worthwhile. They also hope the dresses may open the door for children to hear the gospel. Through Little Dresses for Africa, more than three million dresses have been distributed in Africa and in 31 other countries.
