James Phillip Dixon, 80, of Anderson, died Feb. 3, 2015.

He was a retired Southern Baptist minister, having pastored churches in both Georgia and South Carolina. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Anderson. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Dixon, three children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
