State CP giving trails budget at 2015 midpoint

South Carolina Baptist churches have forwarded $13,578,225 in Cooperative Program gifts to the South Carolina Baptist Convention through the first half of 2015.

Year-to-date giving trailed budgeted needs by 4.71 percent, according to figures released July 15 by Pam Carroll, the SCBC’s chief financial officer.

Nationally, year-to-date contributions to Southern Baptist national and international missions and ministries received by the SBC Executive Committee were 1.45 percent above SBC Cooperative Program Allocation Budget projections and 1.24 percent above contributions received during the same time frame last year.
